That’s money towards centering young women of color, prioritizing rather than silencing marginalized voices. Towards hiring high school interns to build organizing skills while running a program they care about. Towards accessible opportunities to play the sport we love. Towards expanding the equity conversation, and, of course, towards many more games of scattergories.
And you braved a typhoon to do it. Y’all are heroes!
We also fit too many chairs at so many tables, hit up the photo booth, heard from powerful young folks about the work they’re doing in AGE UP, listened to some great singing, and witnessed dance jeopardy. Yikes, that’s a lot!
