Mission
All Girl Everything Ultimate Program (AGE UP) invests in black, indigenous, and people of color youth in South Seattle. Our community is rooted in ultimate frisbee and committed to justice.
Vision
We envision a world without oppression, where young people are free to be their whole selves, and have the relationships and healing they need to lead and thrive.
Values
Girl-Centered
We know that all people’s liberation depends on ending patriarchy. We build our programs around undoing sexism, and center the leadership of young women.
Healing
We create spaces to feel and speak our truths without judgement. We use sports as a powerful tool for healing, on and off the field.
Justice
We believe a world without oppression is possible. We use the power of people’s stories, histories, whole selves, and relationships to build our communities.
Joy
We cannot end oppression without sharing joy. We cultivate joy through ultimate frisbee, food, and relationships to nurture a community of resilience and hope.
Youth-Driven
We uplift the power of young people to lead our teams, communities, and organization at every level.
Power Sharing
We recognize that power grows positively when it is shared and not hoarded. We use our culture of transparency, personal growth, and collaboration to cultivate the leadership in all of us.
